I setup your batch files as closely as I could here and with the
exception of the date code it all worked perfectly (the date code
included /'s here - I assume that's not an issue for you).

Can you reinstall the agent service with the '-l 2' option (no quotes)
and see if anything useful gets logged in the event log please?
