- I have worked with PostgreSQL 7.2.1 and PowerBuilder 5.0. I think the problem is with OS itself. I believe that there are instances when my Powerbuilder "hangs" when when I tried to use the database painter using Win XP. But as far as I can recall I don't have that problem when I use PB 5.0 with Windows 2000. I'll try to check it again since I haven't use PB with Win 2000 for quite some time. - I don't believe that the problem lies with ODBC since I was able to create database apps using PB 5.0 and PostgreSQL 7.2. Try turning on the logging options of the ODBC. Hope that helps, ludwig __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
