  Hello I am trying to install pgAdmin II (version 1.1 Build 
  28) on my win98.
  I use pgAdmin II connect remote postgresql of linux( version 
  7.1.2)
  I keep an error follow:

following:

dialogue.

size=2>2) Your network is working (e.g. ping servername gets 
responses).

size=2>3) PostgreSQL must be running on the server and allowing TCP/IP 
connections (start the postmaster with -i option).

size=2>4) The pg_hba.conf file on the server must allow your client/username to
