I have done that and nothing at all happens. If I click the X to close the
window it goes away for a few seconds and then immediately comes back again. I
am going to try restarting the server and pgAdmin once more.

Thanks
Steve

Hi,

I started a VACUUM on a table from pgAdmin and a progress window opened as
expected. Unfortunately the remote database was shutdown and restarted whilst
the job was running and the process was killed on the DB server. When I got
pgAdmin connected again the progress window popped straight back up (even
though the vacuum is not running on the server) and I cannot find any way to
get rid of it.

Try to stop the process by clicking on the 'Stop Process' button (red button).
Can anyone suggest anything please?

Thanks
Steve
