The AWPN workshop will take place this year on October 18, 2024, alongside the
ICPM conference at DTU in Copenhagen. This year, we are requesting
contributions in the form of extended abstracts, describing ideas for current
research projects or tools. The submissions will be divided into sessions, and
each contribution will be presented in a 20-minute slot. Following the
sessions, we will form working groups to discuss the presented topics and
foster collaborations.

We welcome all contributions concerning tools, applications, and theory in the
field of Petri nets and related formalisms. Possible topic areas for our
sessions include, but are not limited to:
Petri Nets and Software Engineering
Petri Nets and Business Process Modeling
Petri Nets and Process Mining
Petri Nets and Model Checking
Petri Nets in Education
Please submit your extended abstracts in English or German as PDF files in LNCS
style to robert.lor...@informatik.uni-augsburg.de
<mailto:robert.lor...@informatik.uni-augsburg.de> by August 8, 2024. This year,
the page limit is 2 pages, excluding references. Contributions will not undergo
a detailed review process but will be assessed by the program committee for
relevance to the AWPN. To emphasize the workshop's character, there will be no
proceedings this year; accepted contributions will be invited for presentation
at the AWPN until September 2, 2024.

There will be no participation fee this year. The participation will include
coffee breaks and lunch. Registration is open until September 15 via
https://fg-petrinetze.gi.de/veranstaltung/awpn-2024.

Important Dates:
- August 8: Abstract submission deadline
- September 2: Acceptance notification
- September 15: Registration deadline
