The Process and Data Science group (PADS) at RWTH Aachen University is 
constantly looking for talented new employees who want to work at the 
intersection of Data Science and Process Science, e.g., process mining. 
Currently, we are hiring for two exciting positions (PhD and PostDoc) in the 
Cluster of Excellence "Internet of Production".

Aachen has an outstanding reputation in production and computer science 
research (both consistently ranked top-3 in Germany). In the cluster "Internet 
of Production", PADS is working in a network of more than 25 institutes and 
research institutions. Our leading role enables us to easily get in touch with 
application partners in science and industry to research new methods in the 
highly interesting intersection of business process management and 
manufacturing, to actively drive the state-of-the-art in business processes in 
the (Industrial) Internet of Things.

You will be working in a cross-disciplinary team consisting of mechanical and 
material engineers together with business researchers and computer scientists. 
Our university and the Cluster of Excellence's own research school offer

topics, while giving space for creativity and innovation.

Excellent programming and English language skills on a professional level, 
orally and written, are required. German language proficiency is not mandatory,
