Do not despair on the Apple M1. Asahi Linux will have you dual booting before
the year is over.

Subject: Re: [Peterboro] Hello PLUG

Hi everyone,
It’s really good to see some life on the mailing list. I’m stilll running Linux
on my home-lab, servers and test-bench here although I will admit to a slight
weakening recently when I acquired an M1 MacBook. During the lockdowns I have
joined several other UK Lugs for their meet-ups which has been great. It would
be nice to think their might be a bit more of an active future for the PLUG?

Regards,
Russell

I'm with Brian (not literally) - am intrigued and interested in Linux. Have had
it as my home OS in the past. I tinker a bit on my Chromebook with the Linux
shell. Have also administered a Unix (well, SunOS) system before in a minor way
in the distant past . I also occasionally run Python programs. In retrospect,
I'm more into it than I thought :-)
