Good people members of PLUG :) I do wonder how many of you have seen that initiative?
http://www.linux-presentation-day.org/ April the 30th could be a day for us to show off :) I should probably be a little more serious about the whole idea but on the other hand we should treat it with joy. If we could get together and create a little presentation stand somewhere in Peterborough (or other town), there is a big chance that some people could look at linux as a viable alternative for windows. Majority of my friends and colleagues do not know of linux existence let alone thinking of removing the shackles of windows hegemony. We could change that or at lease try to enlighten people and give them a choice. Would any one be interested in organising such event? There are still three months to go, so plenty of time to thing and act. I would like to know what are your thoughts.. Many thanks, Bart
