Forwarding X of SSH is probably the solution when the remote user is on a Linux platform. But unfortunately they're not, so I really need something like remote desktop (ie RDP), although VNC and similar could be considered. Also: I think it's safe to assume that remote access from mobile devices will also be needed at some point.
