I'm using class 10 and in XBMC mode the pi is quite responsive - not done 
anything on the Linx side that would really stress the SD card. The pi did 
struggle as a media server running tvmobili, but that's probably more down to 
the cpu and memory than disk perfomance. If you're at the next meeting, you can 
try my spare class 10 card if you like to do some comparisons.
