I had the chance to use testdisk. It's quite simple to use and it did not destroy my data, but I still have the same problem with Gparted. Despite the fact that I have written the partition table few times, Gparted cannot find any partition on my HD. Any idea about what I can do next? If it can help I don't mind using testdisk to delete my linux partition and then see if Gparted can read the partition table. What do you think? Thanks.
