Absolutely not, I have read some of the groups emails and was impressed
that you had actually
had a "no laptops" evening. I was just supporting\making the point that
a "no laptops" evening can be a good thing once in a while.

I am not not short of stuff - linux etc to bring:

- 3 linux netbooks (2 eeepc's and one HP 2133 currently with SLED)
- 4 android tablets
- 1 32 GB playbook
- 2 old Samsung P30 laptops with linux (lunbuntu and puppy)
- 5 desktop PCs all with linux (multiple boot)
- 2 tower servers
- all 3 generations of the Three MiFi (mobile brodband)
- etc.....

And I have no plans to get rid of any, much to my wifes annoyance

Countless (non-apple!!!!!) music\media players Samsung\Archos etc..as
I am into lossless music preferqavbly flac conversions of CD's.

I am not known as a "gadget man" for no good reason!!!!

Good afternoon Paul,

As an honest answer, the first/second Tuesday of the month PLUG meetings
are informal meetings where laptops, netbooks and even complete desktop
computers make regular appearances.
A quite successful "no laptops" social gathering has now occurred last
week, so this may of course change. Are you completely averse to having
a meeting where there is connectivity and there are computers around?

Regards,
Tony V.
