You might also consider the Brewery Tap in Peterborough, which is just round 
the corner from the railway and bus station.  It's run by the same people who 
own Charters, they do excellent Thai food.  they can do advance table booking 
(or you can just turn up, although this might be risky if there's quite a few 
of us.

I haven't been to a PLUG meeting for about a year, but when there's real 
food/beer involved, there's a better chance of getting me out the house!
