Hi Gary, I was trying to activate fingerprint reader on a HP laptop running Ubuntu 9.04 (when it was realised) but with no success :( The only thing I remember is, because fingerprint reader use some sort of encryption (which isn't open source) there are not many drivers for those readers (or something like this :) )
