you might not be able to install it, or log in without the internet. I'll have to test that on a recent build. Essentially its an OS for a cloud terminal, so you're running Google Spreadsheet or whatever over the internet and not running a spreadsheet app on the netbook itself. There's talk of off-line data storage / file sync and the like. You do have a full linux command line so installing stuff may be possible however the idea is that the OS is secure and digitally signed for security so I'll have to have a read and a play.....
