I'm a recent Ubuntu convert, my hand being forced by virtue of a shared PC, but actually I quite like it. Over the years I've used Mandriva, Fedora and Kubuntu, with the latter serving as a base on my ageing laptop (although have found LXDE runs faster these days on that machine). Shame I just missed the last meeting, but hope to attend the next if I'm able.
