Steve,

I'm also dyslexic, as is my sister and several friends, but that just
means that I make (much) heavier use of a spelling/grammar checker and
a longer amount of time proof-reading my emails - can you honestly say
that you're unable to do the same? People should be considerate of
other people reading what they've written, dyslexia shouldn't really
be used as an excuse - it's a disability, not an inability. Mistakes
can still get through obviously, and again I don't expect anyone's
English to be perfect - I'm more than tolerant of genuine mistakes.

In no way did I imply that you shouldn't be treated with respect and I
don't think you're a troublemaker. However, I did take exception to
the way you tried to discard Mark's valid suggestion for more
business/enterprise topics, purely because it didn't suit you.

All,

As another poster has said, I think we should all attempt to make
positive suggestions on what we'd like to see covered on the list and
at meetings.

Personally I'd like to see:
Data recovery topics.
Device setup/compatibility workshops.
Windows desktop / network co-existence (active directory etc).

I can offer advice on:
Basic server admin / fault-finding.
telnet/xine.td configuration and tuning.
Java/Web applications on Linux.

Best regards,
Michael
