Hi Steve, Sorry to here that you are unlikely to make this months meeting, I guess buying a house is a little more important though.
Augusts meeting should be on the 25th August iirc. The netbook is a compaq mini note 702ea I bought from ebuyer for £199. It only came with a cut down version of windows xp but it seems very happy with ubuntu netbook remix on it. :D Cheers Stuart L.
