I'd probably suggest at least trying Daval computers on Lincoln Road - if he
can't help, he's bound to know someone that can.

I'm not surprised that not many companies want to do the work though,
disassembling a laptop isn't normally very easy or fun. The problem with the
power socket will probably involve soldering, so there's the chance of the
mb getting stuffed during the repair, so i think many companies will want to
avoid the potential comeback...
