On my own Asus, I can plug in an SSD card or USB stick and it is
immediately recognised and accessible. However, I have encountered two
other identical machines which, whenever an SSD card or USB stick is
plugged in, refuse to open them, returning an error message saying. "You
do not have enough permissions to read /home/user/Disk".
Neither machine has been modified or had its settings changed since
purchase, so I can't figure out why they are behaving differently to my
own machine.
Can anyone cast any light on the mystery, or give me an idea how it can
be fixed?
