I have recently exchanged emails with Mark before I joined this group, and he
suggested that if I post a message, then someone may have the answer.
I have an eee pc and would like to replace the current operating system with
Ubunto on the basis there seems to be more self help info and as a Windows user
it looks a bit more familiar to me. I gave it a try but could not get the
Wireless Network to work, so I have put the original o/s back on.
I also would like to load some Amateur Radio (Ham Radio Software) on it.
Basically the programs use the soundcard i/p & o/p and USB port. One program of
interest is fldigi.

I like on Park Farm Estate P/Boro and work in Hampton. I think I need some 1 to
1 help, are there any volunteers ? or do you suggest I attend the next club
meeting, unless there is something specifically planned.
Your thoughts please ?
