Yes, the caterpillar's skin is lying to the right of the pupa. Looking at
it closely, I would say that the caterpillar has come in from outside. It
does not look like any of the usual pest species.
By the way, my identification of the cockroach was wrong - the insect to
the left of the woodlouse is an earwig, probably a *Forficula *species
(also a visitor from outside).
