Possibly a rove beetle species (Staphylinidae)? There are a couple dozen genera and several thousands of species of these guys, so you'd have to narrow it down based on your location first and then morphology. I don't think they're a common museum pest, but they do eat other insects and dead animals, so that would also depend based on your collection.
