Thanks, Jody I knew we had fire ants in Oklahoma, and I have seen their mounds on campus here. I did not think they could do this kind of damage. After looking closer at the photo, I do see the stinger which the carpenter does not have. I did find the nest it is right outside of the wall. I did not know that they could push dirt like that come in.
