No need to worry about grease traps and sewer pipes. It's not Phoridae. This is *Palloptera muliebris*, one of the "flutter flies". It's associated with woodland, and has been found breeding under bark, where it may be predatory on beetle larvae. This is an accidental visitor, and is no danger to your collections, apart from being breakfast for *Anthrenus *and other pests. Tony
