Hi Beau,

I think that your images are of brown-dotted clothes moths, Niditinea fuscella.
Here is a video that we put together about this species that will give you
some further information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAlKtgLu27g

Brown dotted Clothes Moths (Niditinea fuscella), AKA European House
Moth<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAlKtgLu27g>
Brown-dotted clothes moths, Niditinea fuscella, also known as European house
moths, often breed outdoors but find their way into our homes where they can
cause damage to our belongings. This video help identify this moth from other
common clothes moths. Monitoring systems for Brown-dotted clothes moths can be
purchased at: https://www ...
www.youtube.com
These moths are attracted to Insects Limited's clothes moth Bullet Lures,
meaning that you can monitor with pheromone traps along with webbing clothes
moths, Tineola bisselliella and case-making clothes moths, Tinea pellionella.

Best,

Pat

Hello again, I was able to get a few more photos. Any thoughts and suggestions
are appreciated. I’m not sure it is the case bearing moth, although maybe.
What about the brown clothes moth?

Thanks!

Beau

Hello again everyone,
We found another batch of moths at our museum that appear to be a different
species of cloths moth and I'm hoping you can help me identify it. I've
attached a few photos. They were found in a tray with some bird nests in them,
especially concentrated on one with some moss on it.

Thanks!
