Size circa 6 mm Mottled appearance, brown with light yellow. It is in an attic in a Tudor house. There has been an infestation of Death Watch beetles in a window frame before, 2015, which was treated. There are exit holes there, but none look new. I cannot see any fresh frass. I am sorry about the photos. I haven’t got a microscope or a camera with a macro lens. ☹ Looking at the Anobiidae images online – my little critter does not have ‘lines’ on the body. It looks much more like the Xestobium. Only it has been on the trap for a while and legs and antenna are not so visible. As long as it is definitely something I should flag to property maintenance services then I will go ahead and ask for them to get an expert in.
