Oh in contracts is ideal. No round foods... they roll under things. Round
things have to be cut in half before serving. Specify trash removal and be
specific. Drop off tray stands so people do not get tempted to sit glasses and
plates on anything. Flowers and flower containers not being made of cellulose.
No picked from mommas yard flowers or pintrest pinecones that were not frozen.
No tree branches. Containers have to be specific. JTV

Honestly the most likely had is to try to make everyone part of the same team.
By showing the special events staff that they have an important role to play in
the preservation of a collections seems to help motivate people to do the right
thing and it is a constant discussion

Hello

I hope you are all well.

We recently sat down with our Events team at the museum to make sure they are
aware how damages and accidents can happen in these kind of gatherings. Our
biggest challenge is communicating the importance of IMP to external
contractors or suppliers that end up bringing in used furniture, material and
other paraphernalia to decorate the event and sometimes even build stages for
musicians.

Does anyone out there have experience with implementing policies around the
expectations for these external companies/contractors?

Does anyone know of any flyers that have been drafted to hand out? or points to
be integrated within the contract of these outside suppliers?

thanks in advance
