The Museum Pests recommendation concerns getting the temp down fast enough, so they recommend a robust freezer to do that, which is a solid recommendation. To be honest, I haven't had much of a problem getting items down to target temps in that time frame with some household standing freezers set at -10F/-23C. However, I usually do not pack those freezers too full, either, so they don't have to work too hard to get down that low.
