Hi Claire, These look like plaster beetles, they usually aren’t a threat to collections, generally feeding on mould. They’re typically a damp indicator

We're in an old building in rainy North West England. The cases are relatively new, but were not made by a museum specialist. We've also found weevils in the traps. I thought these might be furniture beetles, but they are smaller than the furniture beetles I've found in the museum stores. I've attached photos with a range of magnifications.
