Buenos días Raquel eso no es un escarabajo, por los hemiélitros y el aparato bucal es una chinche (Orden Hemiptera), no tengo conocimiento de que este grupo afecte madera, son la mayoria fitofagos (plagas de cultivos) o algunos hasta hematofagos como las vinchucas: triatominos que transmiten enfermedades parasitarias (de importancia sanitaria). Podría ser que murió y de casualidad fue transportado con el material desde algún cultivo o que llegó desde afuera (ver ambiente circundante). Si alguien más te aporta para asegurarnos estaría genial. Saludos.
