Adie, In my experience, German cockroaches are rarely associated with plumbing. They may occasionally accumulate around a drain for moisture, but they wouldn’t arise from the sewer lines below. I’d wager that these roaches were stowaways on supplies brought in during construction or thereafter. -Rich
