That all sounds like it may work. I would make sure to get under the cabinet if it can be moved. Dermestids love hiding under and above food sources if it’s dark. Also may be a good idea to check above and below things in that vicinity if you have not already inspected such. Make sure to check back in the fall or whenever larvae are visible with the naked eye but have not had enough time to do any real damage. Trying to time that for your area can be tricky. Used to be the end of October here in Virginia but the degree days have changed into as late as November here given the light winters we have been getting over the past few years. JTV

Do not click links, open attachments or take action unless you know the contents are safe] Hello all, I have a cabinet that I need to clean to make sure there are no pest eggs, etc, left inside that could reinfest future items put back in the cabinet. I can't just freeze the entire cabinet, and there are weird ledges and corners in the back of it that are difficult to thoroughly reach. I intend to vacuum it all over the interior and to spray and wipe the interior with 70% EtOH. Are there other measures that anyone here would recommend for making sure the cabinet is effectively decontaminated before returning specimens (study skins, super yummy) back to the cabinet? Thanks!
