:-).  Perhaps so.  I got the impression at the conference that some folks, at
least, would like perl 6 to be able to parse pretty much any language under the
sun and further to produce bytecode which would run on any of the bytecode
interpreters.  So, in the it coul parse Python and, wait for it, produce
bytecode which would run on the Python interpreter--except more slowly than
actually using Python ;-).
