My opinion is that the current behaviour, while some may think it's
irregular, is useful, and I don't want to see it go away.  I'm not arguing
that we should keep it simply because people are used to it, but instead we
should keep it because it's useful.

I'm not sure if you gathered that from my email or not, but there it is
spoken more clearly in any event.
