Here are the language RFCs I'm aware of:
Multiline comments
Michael J. Mathews <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Lexical scoping by default
J. David Blackstone <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Higher resolution time valuse
Gisle Aas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
AUTOLOAD declining
Leon Brocard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Highlander variables
Andy Wardley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Variable usage warnings
Steve Fink <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for now
Reimplement Warnings and Tainting as Pragmas
Nathan Wiger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
I've just asked for a multiline comment sublist to be set up. Do any
of the rest of these RFCs want/need a sublist?
Meanwhile, I'd like to see RFCs on the following topics:
Formats out of core
Deprecate localtime() and replace with ????
Renaming linenoise perlvars (into a package?)
That Perl should stay Perl
Switch statement
Anyone want to put their name next to them?
When an author comes forward, please direct your comments on that topic
to the author, until the RFC is posted, and keep it in-thread (or start
a sublist) after that.
Thanks in advance,
K.
