Yes, general policy is to keep credit information in a central location, instead of scattered through multiple files (where no one will find it anyway). I don't think that's mentioned in the coding standards PDD, but it probably should be.

Of course, individual languages may have their own customs for recording credits (since they may ultimately live outside the Parrot repository).
