I assume there's a lot of travel still going on post SPW and pre YAPC,
not a lot of traffic on IRC.

We missed the August release, which I think is fine, we were very
busy; I've put together a non-release announcement I'll send out later
today.

https://github.com/rakudo/rakudo/blob/nom/docs/announce/2015.08.md

There's been very little discussion about nom vs. glr. vs. potentially
master, but we're already down to not a lot of time before the
September release.

We go a lot done at the SPW, and the GLR branch is clear at this point
(Yay!) - my proposal to move forward for September is:

1) Merge glr back into nom/master for rakudo/roast by the end of the day today.
2) Start working on hoelzro's suggestion of deprecation elimination
3) go through RT and finalize any [GLR] tagged tickets (or tickets
that should have been GLR'd)
4) Encourage review of docs.
5) Work on tickets listed in
https://rt.perl.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=123766 and make sure any
Christmas blockers are referenced there.
