That shouldn't suprise anyone. The perl6 fakecutable (don't call it a binary, please) consists of several million Parrot instructions, each betweeen 1 and 2000 but padded to a native integer for performance reasons - and is thus, except for the stub which loads Parrot, exactly twice as large on a 64 bit machine. -sorear
