Chromatic, PM, I got a fresh copy of parrot; configured and built. And "parrot_config revision" still returns 0 (zero). If I then doctor rakudo's makefile to ignore the revision # of parrot (and - a for a separate problem that re-occurs from time to time- switch in rakudo's makefile / for \ in "c:\strawberry\perl\bin\perl.exe"), then rakudo builds properly.
