The existing mechanism (makefile calls svn to check out t/spec) will
work fine unmodified with rakudo in git.

I prefer to work with git.  I feel a lot more confident that I won't
screw things up with git.  I'm more comfortable working with server-side
branches with git.

Feel free to weight my preference against my recent inactivity, though.
