S26 is somewhat out-of-date in several respects, and C<=END> is unfortunately one of them. For the time being our pod parsing will follow (or at least be guided by) whatever is specified by STD.pm . Hopefully we'll be able to reconcile STD.pm and S26 soon. Thanks for submitting! Pm
