And I continued to get favorable results on r27985 (June 01), 28375 (June 15) and 28698 (today). Although I should add that from 'svn co' to 'make perl6' takes me 40 minutes on my iBook. And the last part of 'make perl6' takes 10 minutes in any case. But at least it's not hanging for 20+ minutes, which was my original complaint. So I'm closing this ticket. Ovid, your problems were on Intel, not PPC. So if you are still having problems I recommend opening a different ticket. Thank you very much. kid51
