It's a start, but how about this:

I think this tells a better story than a list of bullet points. In
fact, we ought to have some narrative atop every release of Parrot
from here on out. I'll volunteer to do so if nobody else will when
those releases come around.
Great; thanks. But is this the only thing we want to mention in such a
