I started to wonder the same thing.  How does r19850 fare everywhere?

The light bulb went on for me when I asked myself "What happens if there are a 
few bytes left over at the end of the pool that aren't enough to hold a 
header but look sufficiently like a PObj that DOD will try to reclaim them?"
