[perl #41250] [tru64] failures in p5regex/p5rx

I think these errors were because p5rx.t was in the midst of being
converted from Perl 5 to PIR (and was left with a number of
failing tests).  I was getting similar (identical?) failures 
for p5rx.t on my x86_64 platform.

I think that r16593 fixes p5rx.t -- if you could
test it on tru64 to verify the fix then I can close this ticket.
