Google's stated policy is not to single out authoritative news servers
for hierarchies like perl.*. Instead, they rely on enough news admins
adding particular groups to allow the news to make it to whatever
servers they do actually follow. And even then, they are selective
about what groups they will publish.
If they actually stick to this policy, the term "brainless oiks" comes
to mind.
What about getting it added at gmane.org also?
