Well, the best place to ask this would actually be on [EMAIL PROTECTED] This list is not really concerned with parrot, at least at the moment (but that looks like it will change pretty soon). And, I don't know much about it, but I do believe that this is part of the plan. When Dan Sugalski was our grand architect, he mentioned it a fair amount. I think that we use a different runcore for code that needs to be safe; i.e. no JIT allowed. Luke
