Notice that on the authors page the note is marked as being in the PPI distribution, which doesn't necessarily mean it's in the PPI module. Once you're on the PPI page it can be seen that it's actually in PPI::Token::Symbol, but you have to scroll down to get that far (or even to realize that the information is provided at all, since the modules that fit on the first screenful don't give much clue that the information would be provided if they did have any notes.) But the scrolling is only necessary on distros containing large numbers of modules, and PPI is quite unrepresentative in that respect!
