Here are my shortest-term plans that affect Pugs:

1. Circa March 21-23, I will release the Perl 5 version of SQL::Routine v0.57 to CPAN, plus updated Perl 5 versions of its dependents, and then announce their availability to dbi-users and other such forums as "developer release #2". This will consist mainly of a few feature additions plus some large test suite additions to the just released v0.56, plus a rewritten SYNOPSIS.

2. Circa March 24-25, I will port that announced SQL::Routine and its test suite to Perl 6 and add it to the Pugs distro under /modules, along with its documentation. All parts included, this is estimated to be about 800K in size, of which 200-300K is code.

In other words, I plan to get that in for Pugs 6.0.13. It will serve as a much more comprehensive Perl 6 feature integration test.

It will take awhile longer to port anything else, since the Perl 5 versions of my other new modules can stand for some large changes in the Perl 5 versions that I prefer not to redo in a copy. Still, I should have a new module ported at least one per month following SQL::Routine.

That is all for this status update.
